A chatter is someone who messages fans on behalf of a creator.
Your job is to:
keep conversations going,
build emotional and erotic interest,
guide chats toward paid actions (PPV, tips, customs),
and help the creator earn consistently.
You are not doing free emotional labour and You are not randomly sexting. You are running conversations intentionally with a specific goal in mind.
In practice, that means:
responding to DMs quickly and confidently
asking the right questions at the right time
creating tension and anticipation
knowing when to tease and when to offer
closing sales without sounding pushy
You are managing attention and turning it into revenue.
An A-Plus chatter is NOT:
❌ a personal therapist
❌ a free sexting buddy
❌ someone who chats endlessly without direction
❌ someone who gives away content for “potential”
❌ someone who begs for tips
❌ someone who overshares their real life
❌ someone who breaks platform rules
If you treat this like casual flirting, you’ll get casual results: nothing. Professional chatters control the pace, protect boundaries, and don’t confuse attention with income.
A typical chatter shift includes:
Opening new conversations
Replying to existing fans
Re-engaging quiet or inactive chats
Speed matters. Fans lose interest fast.
You’re constantly asking:
Is this person a spender or a time-waster?
What kind of energy do they respond to?
Are they bored, horny, lonely, curious?
You adjust your tone based on them, not a script.
This is where skill comes in:
playful teasing
suggestive language (not explicit dumping)
slowing things down instead of rushing
Tension creates desire. Desire leads to sales.
You’ll offer:
PPV content
tips
customs
bundles or special drops
The key:
The offer feels like the next step—not a random pitch.
Good chatters take notes:
what the fan likes
what they’ve bought before
how often they spend
what tone works on them
This is how you create repeat spenders.
Success is not being busy all shift, having long conversations that dont lead to sales or getting attention but no monetary engagement but is measured by fans unlocking content, tips coming in naturally and repeat buyers returning. You will also see fewer "Free" requests and better results with less effort. A successful chatter spends more time on spenders than talkers, controls the conversation and knows when to disengage.
If you feel drained and broke regardless of the strategies you implement, thats not on you but rather a structural problem.Always communicate with your team and in instances of poor management, it is best to find an agency with support structure for it's closers.
Jumping straight into explicit talk kills anticipation and cheapens the chat.
Long paragraphs lower response rates.
Short, confident messages win.
Selling before tension = rejection.
Selling after the moment passes = missed money.
If someone never buys, never tips, and keeps pushing for free. They are costing you money
Never say:
“sorry for bothering you”
“it’s okay if you don’t want to”
“just checking…”
Confidence sells. Apology repels.
This is work.
Don’t tie your worth to someone else’s attention.
At its core, this job is about control, timing and emotional intelligence. Once you understand the role, the money part makes sense. Ready to move on? Learn the about the Tech Setup required next.
